"Web Pages" for the Ol' Buckeyes

patrick — Sat, 2006-04-08 04:05

I got an e-mail from my dad the other day asking about website stuff -

What is the procedure for putting data from Excel into HTML? Do I copy it and paste onto a Word document, that I then convert to HTML? Or can it be handled like a picture (PDF file)?

and then this came as a separate e-mail -

If I want to put a form on the website so someone can fill it out and return to me electronically, where do I look for instructions?

After asking a bunch of questions I've found out that they're having a reunion this summer & my dad wanted to get a bunch of information up. My mom sent me the files he'd put together & I think they were better than most webpages that people put up. Then consider the fact that he's never put a webpage together. I'm not saying it's perfect, just that it blows away most noob pages. The best thing about it is that it presents *information*, not only that, but useful info for anyone that's interested in the old grade school.
